Downtown Chaska is home to several nonprofit organizations.
The Chaska Historical Society honors the rich heritage of the Chaska community by collecting, recording, preserving and sharing its history. The Chaska History Center has become a resource center for researching the history of Chaska and its people through exhibits, photographs, letters, diaries, maps, artifacts, documents and copies of the Chaska Herald newspaper. We are always looking for volunteers. Please stop by to inquire about volunteer opportunities that are currently available.

The River Valley Community Partnership d/b/a River Valley Nursing Center is a registered 501c3. The RVNC serves uninsured and under-insured people in Scott and Carver counties; connecting them to local resources and free or low-cost health care services.
Our services are free, no appointment needed. Care is provided by a Public Health Nurse and a Spanish Interpreter (if needed).
Some services that are provided: blood pressure checks, cholesterol screening, glucose screening, health education, pregnancy verification for medical assistance application, over-the-counter prescription assistance, connection to MNsure eligibility assistance, connection to local social services resources for those in need.
Tuesdays from 1:00pm – 5:00pm, located within the East Creek Family Center.
